Hey stephanie, I to am looking to expand my social life and meet new people. also single mom of 17 and 18 year old kids. Tired of doing nothing looking for new things miss my old friends home. Because many people, like yourself, are interested in local activities, movies, theater and social functions, I started my Brunch, Lunch & Supper Club a year ago. I too relocated to Greenville and I moved here not knowing anyone. The hardest part of moving somewhere new is leaving behind your friends and making new ones especially at our age or so it seems to me. I work at a small company where all are either married or much younger. So decided to check out Meetup & not only events offered but to just try introducing myself to a few other in similar situation and find out how it is going for them and hopefully in the process make some new friends.
